On this page you will find lifecast sculptures taken directly from the faces of clients. Lifecasting is an art form that captures the energy of the person sitting through the process. When the mold is removed from their face I then make a plaster cast of that person. I study the cast to catch the most primitive essence of the client and begin to decorate it. The casting is then mounted for hanging. I also do belly castings of pregnant women as a keepsake for the parents and child. My mixed media work and assemblages are birthed from nature. I use a variety of materials to capture a particular feeling as the piece progresses.
